installation, 2011
a drawing table (120cm*80cm) and pins
in progress

The lines that are drawn with pins create abstact geographical form of Turkish map.
The signifance of map on a drawing table by pinning invisible lines implies drawn topography of the world which is constructed by human.
The lines are infinite and can spread horizantally, in the meanwhile lines limit the space of a person and define the boundaries. The simplicity of a line as a means is very abstract but it represents the paradox of possibility of endless expansion but also the contours of an eclosure.
The installation can be realized by a single source light to use the shadow prints of the pins.
